Open exclusively to educators (teachers, librarians, and administrators), this evening is your chance to hear about the best new children and young adult books coming out this fall and winter, while heavily focusing on diversity.

We'll also hear from guest author John Micklos, Jr., author of over 35 books, including his newest, One Leaf, Two Leaves, Count with Me! Guests will have the opportunity to hear John speak about the importance of diversity in children's books and ask the author questions. Afterward, guests are welcome to get books signed by John.

Educators will also receive information on the resources our publishers and Bethany Beach Books can offer, including discounts and educator programs. Our staff will also be present to discuss school author visits, book fairs, and more!

Educators will have a chance to mingle with other guests, relax over refreshments, and win some great giveaways! (AKA, FREE BOOKS, yay!)

Please RSVP below so we can ensure there are enough goodies for everyone! This will also help us gather grade appropriate books for our attending educators.

One Leaf, Two Leaves, Count with Me!
By: John Micklos, Jr.

This playful counting book shares the colorful highlights of the four seasons in charming illustrations.

Count your way through the seasons! In spring, the tree's leaves appear, one by one. By summer, there's a glorious canopy. And when autumn winds blow, leaves fly from the tree, one after another, leading us into winter. There's a world of activity to spy in and around this beautiful tree as the wild creatures, and one little boy, celebrate the cycles of nature. As little ones count leaves, look for animals, and enjoy the changing seasonal landscape, bouncy rhymes and bold illustrations make learning to count easy--corresponding numerals reinforcing the learning fun.
